FLL
What is fll?
FIRST® LEGO® League is the most accessible, guided, global robotics competition, helping students and teachers to build a better future together. The program is built around theme-based Challenges to engage children ages 9 to 14* in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering. The foundation of the program is the FIRST® Core Values, which emphasizes teamwork, discovery, and innovation. Students emerge more confident, excited, and equipped with the skills they need in a changing workforce.
Mentoring

Since many CRyptonite students have extensive FLL experience, mentoring younger teams has become a staple of our Outreach program for many years. CRyptonite students guide younger teams, keeping them motivated and helping them come up with new ways to solve complex challenges.

Interested in starting a team or partnering with Team 624?
Every year, CRyptonite hosts a FLL qualifier competition for 27 local teams to compete in for a place at the Houston Regional. CRyptonite students with mentor guidance plan and execute nearly every aspect of the qualifier, and it’s success has been recognized my multiple local media outlets.
